Installation of Electric Car Charging Points

electric car chargers

Charge your electric vehicle at home or at your workplace quickly, safely and cost-effectively. We take care of the entire engineering project: from choosing the electric car charger right through to technical installation and the processing of grants.

Your own charging point, tailored to your needs

Owning an electric vehicle only makes sense if you can charge it conveniently whilst you sleep or work, making the most of the times when electricity rates are cheapest. Relying on the public charging network creates uncertainty and increases your cost per kilometre.

At S&C Energy Consulting We design and install infrastructure for charging points for electric vehicles approved. We can advise you on the charger (Wallbox) that’s ideal for your vehicle model, and we’ll configure the dynamic power management system so you can charge at maximum speed without the risk of tripping the fuses in your home or business.

We install electric car chargers in any location

Frequently asked questions about installing electric car chargers

Do I need to ask the residents’ association for permission to install a charger in my communal garage?
You do not need the owners’ committee’s approval or a vote in favour. Under Article 17.5 of the Condominium Act (LPH), you simply need to give the chairman or property manager advance written notice that you are going to carry out the installation in your individual parking space.
Do I need to increase the electricity supply to my home to charge my car?
In most cases, it isn’t necessary. We install chargers fitted with dynamic power control, a smart device that regulates the power supplied to the car based on the energy consumption of the rest of the home. If you’re using the washing machine and the oven, the charger reduces its power output; when you switch off the appliances, it increases again.
How much does it cost to install an electric vehicle charging point?
The price varies depending on the length of cable required from the meter to the parking space and the model of charger (Wallbox). Generally speaking, residential installations cost between €800 and €1,500 before any government grants are applied.
How much are the grants for installing charging points?
Through the current incentive schemes (such as the MOVES III Scheme or its extensions), private individuals can receive grants of up to 70% of the total installation cost (and up to 80% in municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants). We take care of handling the entire application process.
